Understanding Streams

Stream is a logical group of web feeds. Each user can create their own streams and share them with other users.

Items within a stream can be bookmarked or marked as seen. Bookmarks within the stream are shared among the users who have access to the stream.

It is advised to create topical streams, so you can share them with other users of the same interest. For example, I have stream of financial news that I share with my work team, stream of real-estate listings that I share with my partner, and then couple technology related streams that I share with my fellow geeks.

How I want to improve streams in future?

• Improvements to stream sharing between users
• Ability to supress stream subscriptions for a while
• Ability to tag items in the stream manually and automatically
• Ability to add notes to the items within a stream
