RSS is a web feed that allows users and applications to access updates to websites in a standardized, computer-readable format. Atom is a newer, more flexible approach. People use RSS and Atom protocols to aggregate content from multiple sources to a single place, an app that is often called rss reader.

Understanding RSS/Atom Export

Streams inside Awesome Goat can be exported as RSS/Atom feeds. Any item that would appear in the stream will appear in the RSS/Atom export.
