We are in a position where we need to conform to CMMC standards. I am struggling to check this box. My struggle is confirming drives have been wiped. What is the preferred method for satisfying clearing drives for either reuse or disposal. We do potentially have a vendor for disposal that can validate destruction, but the confirming the drive has been wiped and clear for reuse is where I am not sure how to proceed.
