We are a currently a small "construction" business in which our forte is land development, we never do residential. and we are currently sub contractors of our prime contractors. prime contractors are directly engage with their clients on US DoD (for Airforce and Marine). We are currently located in Guam.

The objective of the company is to become CMMC Level 2 by 2025. so that we can be compliant next year.

I would like to asked on what should be doing in our PMIS (project management information system).? since we are subcontractors. we only received new and supersede plans that we follow thru, we are always on the receiving end of documents and also the hands on execution of works. (our scope is mostly land development, creation of roads, pavement, concrete curbs). additionally the prime contractor provided as the full set of all of the plans which our scope is very little.

I would like to ask on what should be doing first this year to become a CMMC Level 1? (beside on the self assessment). I'd also notice that different projects have different format of template in which our prime contractor provided as. say: Prime contractor 1 have this document (RFI - request for information) is very different on Prime contractor 2(RFI).

Additionally on our current scale as small business (20 staff/engineers, 50 workers). what should be doing first?. I have read a lot of article of the philosophy of CMMC but no one is trying to give like a format or architecture of the documented system. (except Keiri, we have been doing talks to them and quoted their pricing per year).

and for my last question, I would like to know how much it would be cost us for CMMC L1? and CMMC L2?. is it possible to do CMMC L1 within 6 months less?
