I don't have any formal IT/Cyber security training, but have worn several hats at an MSP over the last few years including Account Manager, Service Team Lead, and Sales Engineer. I am familiar with the industry terms and understand, conceptually, many networking/M365 concepts. I've taken a deep dive into CMMC since last fall, because several of my current clients are contractors, and I've learned a lot. Would it be crazy for me to go straight for the CCP, without first getting a CompTIA cert, as is suggested in the CCP prerequisites?
